What do the Match Outcomes Mean?

‘The account name you entered matches the account’
The details you entered exactly match the bank records of the intended recipient. The recipient's name will be displayed.


‘The account name you entered is a close match to the account’
The details you entered closely match the bank records of the intended recipient. The recipient's name will be displayed.


‘The account name entered does not match the account’
The details you entered don’t match the recipient’s bank records. The recipient's name will 
not be shown, unless it’s a business or government organisation.


‘The account name entered is not found’
The account details you provided couldn't be matched. Please check the account details with the intended recipient. The account name won’t be verified with the BSB and account number.


‘The account name entered is not active’
The account has been closed. Please check and validate the account details with the intended recipient.
