Match Outcomes - What do they mean?

Match Means the account name you entered matches the account.

Close match Means the account name you entered is a close match to the account. You should double-check the account details.

No match Means the account name entered does not match the account. You should verify the recipient’s details as an incorrect payment may be difficult to retrieve.

No account found Means there is no account associated with the details you 
 provided. Check the account details with the intended recipient. The account name won’t be matched, verified, or checked with the BSB and account number.

Account not active Means the account is closed. We will not allow you make a payment to this account. Please check with the recipient and obtain the correct account details.
