What will be shown to people making payments to my account?

The payer will only see your account name as held by Bano if the details they entered match or closely match the information on file. If any details are incorrect, your name will not be displayed to protect your privacy.

For joint accounts, only the name(s) entered by the payer will be shown, along with the note "and others" to indicate additional account holders. Other account holders’ names will not be displayed.

If the account is a business or government organisation account, the account name will always be shown to the payer, regardless of the match outcome.
