Confirmation of Payee (CoP) is a 24/7 real-time security feature that helps make sure payments go to the right person or business. When you set up a new beneficiary/recipient for a payment, CoP checks the name you enter against the name on the receiving bank account, so you can confirm it's correct before sending money.
